The last issue of the European Journal of Economic and Social Systems (edited by Stefano Lucarelli, member of EGM Faculty at University of Bergamo and Bernard Paulré, CNRS Université Paris 1, La Sorbonne) is aimed at stressing the persisting and contemporary nature of Joseph Alois Schumpeter’s thought, thus contributing to display the fecundity of this author, who must not be demoted to a subject matter for historians of economic thought, as interesting as it may be to study him from this perspective.
