L’Associazione Italiana per la Storia dell’Economia Politica (STOREP), costituitasi nell’ottobre 2003, ha l’obiettivo primario di promuovere, valorizzare e sostenere la sensibilità degli economisti verso la storia del pensiero economico nella didattica e nella ricerca e di favorirne più in generale la diffusione. La STOREP si adopera per una feconda collaborazione tra economisti interessati alla storia del pensiero e storici – sia del pensiero sia dei fatti economici.

La STOREP organizza convegni, sponsorizza workshop, scuole estive, e incontri con le altre associazioni del settore, promuove la ricerca, pubblica nel suo sito saggi e working papers.

The Italian Association for the History of Political Economy (STOREP) was founded in October 2003 with the purpose of promoting and enhancing the sensibility of economists towards the history of economic thought in their teaching and research activity. STOREP fosters the collaboration between economists and historians (of economic thought and facts).

STOREP organizes annual meetings, sponsors workshops, summer schools and joint meetings with other scientific societies, promotes research, and publishes review articles and working papers.
